Throughout the year there is a varied programme of cultural events in the area with venues such as the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal providing an excellent choice of concerts, plays and films. Events such as the Mountain Film Festival and the Torchlight Procession draw many visitors to discover the delights of Kendal and the surrounding area.
